NetMusician email configuration for Microsoft Entourage 2004 (Macintosh)

To setup Entourage 2004 to access your email hosted on NetMusician, perform the following steps:

1. Open Entourage, go to your Tools menu and select Accounts. Click on New
2. Enter your NetMusician email address in the first window, click the right arrow to continue, click the right arrow again to manually enter your configuration
3. Enter your Account ID, which is your NetMusician username, if different than the one provided. Enter your password, and check on Save password in Mac OS X Keychain so that you don't have to manually enter your password each time you check for new email messages
4. Set the incoming mail server to netmusician.org, and the incoming mail server type to IMAP
5. Set the outgoing mail server to netmusician.org, and click on Configure account manually
6. Click on Click here for advanced receiving options. Check This IMAP service requires a secure connection (SSL). Click outside this window to return to the previous window.
7. Click on Click here for advanced sending options. Check SMTP service requires a secure connection (SSL). Check Override default SMTP port and change that port number from 25 to 2525. Check SMTP server requires authentication and click outside this window to return to the previous window.
8. Set the Account name field to a description of your choice which describes this email account, and click OK. You can now close the "Accounts" window, and click on Send & Receive to check for new messages within your NetMusician account.
